About Brady & Associates

In the early 1960's, B. J. did a lot of buying, selling, and trading in Houston with Jack Copeland, who now owns Royalty Coins (San Antonio TX). In his college years, B. J. owned and operated Beaumont Coin and Stamp Shop while he attended Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. In 1974, he and Susan moved to Boulder, Colorado to work for MGM Rare Coin Galleries, and purchased Collectors Corner in May of 1975. Collectors Corner operated until 1986, when all operations were moved to Tennessee. We have operated as Brady & Associates in Elkton, Tennessee, since May of 1988.

B. J. Brady has been a life member -- LM 1517 -- of the American Numismatic Association since January, 1975. At the Philadelphia ANA Convention in 2000, he was awarded his 25-year life member medal by ANA President Robert Campbell.

Our main area of expertise is U. S. type coins, particularly Morgan silver dollars, with a specialty in Carson City minted Morgan dollars (1878-1893). We have an extensive inventory in brilliant uncirculated, proof-like (PL), and deep mirror proof-like (DMPL) dollars. We also carry an extensive inventory in U. S. Liberty and St. Gaudens double eagles.

We have handled estate jewelry, pocket watches, and odd and curious currencies. Another of our areas of expertise is Case pocket knives. We carry a large inventory in Case red bone and stag handle pocket knives. We rarely take the knives to coin shows; however, if you are interested, just give us a call.

We will travel to purchase estate collections from families, their attorneys, and their heirs. We also do insurance appraisals.
