What to expect?

Italy ResortsYour American Heritage Program begins with experiential workshops that we call "possibilities". Not your standard "this-is-what-we’ll-be doing-for-the-next-few-days" orientation, it is a workshop to help you see the next few days with different eyes. Our aim is to give our participants an experience of "self", to empower whatever choices they make for their lives. And, to enhance their theater experience in that context.

And speaking of firsts, we'll see the first residence and possibly get a glimpse of the first family in action.

 It all begins with you. Just tell us what you want, and we do the rest. We are there to support you every step of the way, from A to Z. We’ll design a program to your specifications, print custom brochures and flyers, and even help you with your parents’ concerns.

When students think of "history," they usually envision a stuffy classroom with boring lectures and dusty textbooks. Like it or not, this what they've been conditioned to expect. For them, history is not a living, growing thing. It's already happened, and there's nothing left to see as far as they're concerned. However, by Learning on Location they're eyes will be opened as they experience history for themselves, seeing just how each and every one of them is affected by their American Heritage.

From Boston, the birthplace of American independence to our nation's capital in Washington, DC your students will come face to face with the places and documents that shaped this nation to what it is now, along with meeting one-on-one with the people who are shaping it for the future. They'll see for themselves how our government works, while learning about the people and ideas that created it.

Whether they are budding politicians and historians or not, you're students will at least get a excellent opportunity to see what their American Heritage is all about. It'll become more than words on a page: it'll become a vibrant, breathing thing. Their career paths will begin to form, and they'll have a sense of what makes us all proud to say we are Americans.
