Zajak Holgate house opens Holgate House seniors' housing complex officially opened in North Vancouver on June 30th, 1999. This project was spearheaded by Mel Zajak, Chairman of the Zajak Foundation.
Working closely with CMHC, the BC Housing Commission, the District of North Vancouver, and North Shore Continuing Care, the Zajak Foundation has set a higher standard of excellence in seniors' housing.
hotel rooms Leipzig The purpose of this facility is to provide affordable and accessible rental housing to citizens of modest means. The 36 unit apartment is already filled to capacity. Six of the units are adapted for wheel-chair accessibility and all units were designed with seniors in mind.
The Seniors' Foundation provided a grant of $9,200.00 to purchase the sofa, chairs, and other furnishings for the common lounge in the complex.
